Hi! I'm Krista Smith, a Carolina girl who has been all over the world to finally settle down on the Gulf Coast of Florida. I love living here! The amazing beaches, the laid back people, the Southern-style close knit community, the amazing weather....

I know if I didn't live here I would be vacationing here every chance I could, so I appreciate the excitement families feel when they visit our area. I have three amazing children who inspire me every day to be a better mom and photography artist.

I love the pure joy in my children's faces when they are genuinely having a blast, and the sweetness they show each other when they are together. I know the years pass by more quickly than I would like them to, and as they grow all my husband and I will have to remember these days are our memories and the images we take. I want to offer other families the same--the ability to freeze time for just a moment, to capture those freckles and crooked teeth and innocent smiles perfectly and beautifully.

My sessions are never stiff or boring, no matter what ages are involved. I believe portrait sessions should be laid back and fun so that everyone can relax and enjoy, which allows me to get images that are real rather than fake and forced. I love to teach up and coming photographers and my book on Natural Light Portraiture will be released later this year!
